My outerwear desires started off with the 90’s hip-hop fashion of the Triple Fat Goose bubble coat and Avirex leather, then as I grew a little older and my style evolved, I went to the Burberry Trench, and now, the Belstaff Roadmaster jacket.

While I enjoy the jacket for the look and superb craftsmanship, I also appreciate the rich tradition behind the Belstaff Roadmaster’s brand. Created in the UK in 1924, Belstaff was the first company to use wax cotton to waterproof jackets for motorcyclists. Known for its innovation, safety, and amazing wearability, the brand grew into a staple to rock on the road and for leisure. Wearing this jacket is believing in this jacket. It’s dope to stand up to the elements while also standing up for style.

I paired the faded olive jacket with a camel brown Marc Jacobs turtleneck. You’ll see in some of my previous posts that camel has been a recurring theme in my fall/winter looks. It’s the perfect blend of richness and neutrality for layering with almost any color. For whatever reason, I decided to not do the typical fold on the turtleneck and just left it be. Still undecided on my verdict on this, but wanted to try something a little different.

My denim were a slouch skinny racing inspired style by Hudson, and the boots are my favorites by Timberland. In 20 years I’ve gone from Triple Fat Goose to Belstaff, but still maintained my Timbs’ in the process.

Sweetwater State Park provided the perfect scene. Natures tones are always a great inspiration I use for design and looks.
