Dolce and Gabbana brunch style was in order this past Sunday at the Euro Bottle Service Brunch. It may be hard to believe, but I’ve actually has this shirt for over 13 years. It was one of my first prized purchases when I came to Atlanta as a freshman in college at Clark Atlanta University in 2002 (probably purchased from a refund check – SMH!).

At that time, I was still in the baggy clothes phase from high school and  the silhouette was way more boxy, but I still thought I was cool to be rockin’ Dolce. About a year ago I did a full closet refresh with one of my tailors, Carl Ulysses Bowen, and had this garment, along with about 20 other older ones cut down appropriately. Even though I haven’t worn it in a while, it gave the shirt new life.

As you mature your body will change, your interests will change, and as your style evolves, your garments change (thanks to a good tailor). The cool part about this is the journey and story that goes along with it.
