Atlanta weather always seems to have a mind of it’s own, so when transitioning to fall, you gotta be flexible.

For this Sunday Brunch, the weather was cooler so the colors got darker. Fatigue always has a way of working into Fall well, because of the brown and green, natural earth tones in the pattern. A lightweight merino wool sweater, like this one from Banana Republic, retains heat while still being breathable. So, it keeps you warm and cool at the same time (best of both worlds). And remember, you can always roll up the sleeves if needed.

The denim is a black Bulldog Denim by Rogue, designed to be naturally wrinkled, likened to the face of a Bulldog (I guess). I thought this could pair well with the fatigue vibe. I was actually reluctant to wear, because all this type of stuff was wayyy in the back of my closet and hadn’t been seen in months. The crazy thing about when the seasons change is that old garments take on new life, and you’ll probably wear them completely different each season. When building my wardrobe, I think about what foundational pieces I can build around – good denim is always a start.

You can’t go into combat without boots, so I finished at the feet with a black pair by John Varvatos. Vintage, foldable aviator frames are by Porsche to complete the Fall fatigue look.
